Patterns for bogie and tender wheels. These were produced in less than 4 hours (not including the time needed for the epoxy resin to set).
Here you see two finalised plate patters. The epoxy patterns were glued on both sides of a piece of plywood, and were aligned using the bolting holes (see previously).
I painted the patterns to hilight surface problems that were then cleared with putty and filing.
Here are some (!) of the surpluss patterns that were left over from the process.
A bunch of succesfull castings, not perfect but will do for me.
